Pete Musil
As he says, he makes quality pipes. Pete's name Heyoka was given him by his Great Grandmother back in 1953. Pete takes pride in his heritage and in his pipe making. He has been carving pipes and quarrying Pipestone at Pipestone Minnesota since 1978. Pete feels that each pipe is a part of his maker just as a child is part of his mother and his father. And just as children venture out, so do pipes venture into the world to find it's own path.
Pete lived in Pipestone for many years, but he currently lives in Sisseton SD. and travels to Pipestone to quarry every year. I know a handful of people who can do quality inlay and Pete is one of those people. Pete unlike some of the local artist who have been carving for many years likes to make unique pipes, he likes his art to be set apart from other artists. And I think that he sure is able to do that. We do carry a few of Pete's pipes contact us to find out what is currently available.
